Thanks to Freddie Wong and Co. as well as Kickstarter we now have Video Game High School.
VGHS follows a new kid named Brian, who has to make the JV FPS team and get the girl, all while competing with the school’s top player (and total douchebag) “The Law.”
The first Episode is already on Rocketjump.com but will later debut on Freddie’s YouTube channel May 17.
Although the series is corny as hell and set very much in a Freddie Wong type of world I have to admit that I’m really impressed with the production quality and special effects. Its uncanny what can be done with such a low budget, VGHS’s budget per episode hardly covers catering on a big Hollywood production. Freddie is what I consider the pioneers in terms of whats in store for the future of entertainment.
Side note, maybe its just me but “The Law” reminds me of a popular member XMG who I think bears a resemblance to EpicMealTime’s Harley Morenstein who actually has a role in the series.
